Costs: mediation is free for the candidate

1. Mediation for the candidate

Mediation services offered to the candidate are free of charge. The candidate does not pay Sofimat for job mediation.

The services are paid by the employer under the commercial contract concluded with Sofimat.

2. German rental search — separate service

Standard package: 109 € / 30 days. The currency is euro.

Includes: analysing requirements, searching all available platforms, contacting landlords/agencies, applications, scheduling viewings after the client’s confirmation.

Does not include and does not guarantee: obtaining a home, a viewing, or acceptance of the file by the landlord. The final rental contract depends on the owner, not on Sofimat.

Payment is made through the channel agreed in the contract (usually transfer). Work starts after contract and payment confirmation. The site has no integrated online payment.

3. Tax refund and Kindergeld

Tax-refund support (Steuererstattung): standard package 89 €. We do not guarantee a refund amount.

Child allowance / Kindergeld: standard package 59 €. We do not guarantee approval of the allowance.

CV, documents or Schufa guidance are agreed separately in writing and labelled as such — not a hiring fee.

4. Premium or urgent

For premium or urgent services we may add 50–150 € to the standard package price, depending on the complexity of the case.

5. Invoicing

Tax details, including VAT if applicable, appear on the invoice. We do not publish here a VAT-payer / non-VAT-payer status that we have not confirmed.
